The Mom Project is Hiring a Remote Project Manager

Our Customer’s mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Through their family of apps and services, they are building a different kind of company that connects billions of people around the world, gives them ways to share what matters most to them, and helps bring people closer together.
We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. The candidate in this role will be embedded with the company Governance team and will be collaborating closely with multiple internal partner teams to ensure that the projects are unblocked and progressing. The successful candidate will be working with internal teams to help them understand and follow the ship processes we have defined. As the Project Manager, your challenge will be to work with many different personalities with strong points of view (POVs) and keep the projects moving forward. You will have to juggle different projects, keeping them organized and be able to quickly context shift. The role is 100% remote to these locations: Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Menlo Park, CA .
What You’ll Do:
Manage dozens of projects from multiple internal partner teams and be able to keep all the projects progressing and unblocked
Respond to new project requests that come in via the online tool
Review initial information, follow up with the requestor on any info gaps
Run and drive partner integration meetings to ensure the completeness of projects
Follow-up, to ensure nothing falls between the cracks
Communicate weekly status reports to the product team and management
Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects
Be able to quickly get up to speed on the various company teams and build relationships with the owners so you can work closely with them
Act as a liaison with internal partner teams and develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Product Design, Content, Data engineering & science, Quality, Product Management, and Product Marketing Management
Execution and ongoing enforcement of the rules and guidelines from the available framework playbooks or the principles in all projects building into the company interface during the Align, Build and Rollout phases
Triage Projects/Diffs that do not comply with the framework playbooks and report the non-compliance
Ensure that all projects are able to capture the core metrics as they roll-out and they are reported on the Governance Dashboard
Manage the exceptions/appeals process if the feature availability needs to be extended
Must-Haves:
3 years of project management or producer experience in the technology industry
3 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
1 years of experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) and dashboard/report development
Communication, organization, management, and people skills
Great passion for the business community
Demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
Experience with the platform or tech foundational community preferred
Ability to build relationships and show empathy for our partners and company teams
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week . This role will be 100% remote and candidates must be able to work during PST hours .
